Ellie arrived at the stable to take care of the horses even though she'd much rather hide in her room and mope all day. But that wouldn't be very helpful.

"At least you won't leave, right?" she said to Kally as she fed her some apple slices. Talking to a horse about her current issues seemed a lot easier.

Barney was smart and had purposefully blocked all outgoing mail from Fandom to his New York City (sorry, no luck for you, Robin) and so could blissfully oversee the gathering of guests, students, teachers, and townies happening in the park. Ellie was glad she had to work today so she could avoid the assembly. Certain things in her life were confusing enough. She'd much rather deal with the horses. Kally stuck her head over the fence, seeming to sense Ellie's thoughtfulness. Instinctively, she pet her, already feeling a little more at ease.

Ellie took care of the horses and let them out into the paddock like usual. She gave them a few apple slices and then found a spot in the shade. Once she was settled, she decided to do a little reading for literature class.

There was a Ratman retrospective at the theater this weekend.

Tonight's feature was the 1995 classic Ratman Always.

Eric was excited. He hadn't seen this one in theaters yet. And he also still hadn't quite worked out that he was currently living in 2009.

Ellie was kind of sleepy today so she stopped to get some caffeine before arriving. She did not share that with the horses, though. They got apples and carrots instead. They seemed okay with that.

Ellie showed up, tended to the horses, and then let them out into the paddock for exercise.

Kally,like usual, stuck her head over the fence so Ellie could pet her.

When Ellie arrived today and learned that Smudge was missing, she made sure not to let the remaining horses out of her sight. So she was paying extra attention to them as she let them out into the paddock for their exercise.

Ellie was in a thoughtful mood when she arrived today. Mostly she was thinking about her planned trip home this upcoming weekend. She would have a lot to discuss with her dad and her brother.

While she contemplated that more, she took care of the horses. Some of them seemed to sense that she wasn't quite as cheerful today.

The last time Ben was at Three Minute Dates, he was one of the daters. Now he was the host. He was pretty sure this counted as a promotion somehow.
